Just in case losing Patrick Kane for the rest of the regular season wasn’t enough, this happened to Jonathan Toews on Sunday night.
He immediately left the ice and went to the locker room, and he did not return to the game. Afterward Joel Quenneville said he’s day-to-day and “I don’t think it’s serious.”
We can only hope he’s right.

Love the fact that the Hawks didn’t deliver any retribution for this hit…I am sure someone who has never played hockey in their entire life could propagate why this was an intelligent decision. I am sure the St. Louis Blues agree…
If they were going to even any score, personally, I’d have preferred it be the one on the scoreboard.
