We know that the Bulls are trying to trade Carlos Boozer, but what we didn’t know was that a potential suitor could emerge so soon. Hell, we didn’t even know that a suitor would emerge at all.
But one has.
Tonight the Oklahoma City Thunder, the team that finished with the second-best record in the NBA at 59-23, will play the Memphis Grizzlies in Memphis. Should Oklahoma City lose, the Thunder’s season will come to an end. What’s gone wrong for the Thunder?
Well, according to the local media, it’s Mr. Unreliable himself, Kevin Durant.
Durant is obviously on the outs in Oklahoma City, because he’s just not good anymore. Yeah, he deserves to win the NBA MVP award this year, but what’s he done lately? Not much, that’s what.
It’s time for a fresh start for Oklahoma City and Kevin Durant. It’s time for the Thunder to find somebody who is the same player in the postseason that he is in the regular season.
And the Bulls have him.
Problem solved. The Thunder get the player they need, and the Bulls no longer need to worry about paying Carmelo when he’s 35 years old. Everybody wins.
