Taj Gibson Will Be A Starter Next Season

The Bulls are losing another key member of their bench next season, but the good news is this member won’t be leaving the team. According to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times, Taj Gibson has been told by the Bulls coaching staff to start preparing for his role as a starter next season.

The Bulls Are Reportedly Trying To Trade Carlos Boozer

boozer

Throughout history mankind has made a habit of attempting to do the impossible. Many times, Man has failed, but there have been other times when, despite all the odds against him, Man has succeeded.

We learned how to fly. We not only sent people into space, but we put them on the moon. We deep fried a Twinkie.

And now, for our latest attempt to tell the laws of physics and nature to fuck off, the Bulls will attempt to trade Carlos Boozer.

A Man Rambles About The Bulls Season That Was

bullsseasonrecap

I was going to write this last night, but I felt it would be better to let my thoughts marinate overnight rather than just pulling the trigger. I was somewhat annoyed, after all, and I didn’t want to let any of that cloud my thoughts on the entire season.

But maybe I should have waited an extra day or two?

What Should Be The Bulls Priority This Summer?

Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 10.29.55 AM

You’re Jerry Reinsdorf and Gar Forman, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

The Bulls season ended last night, and while I’ll have a post up on the season later today, right now I was interested in getting your thoughts. We all know everything Bulls fans want the team to do this winter, but what if they can only do one thing?

What’s more important to you: getting Carmelo or amnestying Boozer? A healthy Derrick Rose, or Nikola Mirotic?

So if the Bulls were allowed to do only one thing this summer — hey, maybe Adam Silver will go mad with power after banning Donald Sterling — what would you do?

Welcome to The Chicago Homer’s Mailbag. It runs once a week unless it doesn’t, and in it I answer questions from readers via Twitter or email. The questions can be about any damn thing you please, and there likely isn’t a question I won’t answer. There may be questions I can’t answer, but I’ll try.

If you’d like to submit a question for the next edition of the mailbag it’s pretty simple. Either ask the question on Twitter using the #AskTCH hashtag — as long as you use the hashtag I will see it — or send an email to TCHMailbag@gmail.com.

And now that you know how to do it, let’s get to the this week’s questions.

Carlos Boozer Must Have Finally Discovered The Internet

NBA: Denver Nuggets at Chicago Bulls

Carlos Boozer has a sad.

It appears that he’s finally started to figure out what every Bulls fan has known for a while: he’s not exactly Tom Thibodeau’s favorite player. Nor is he a favorite of the fans. Hell, we’re not even sure he’s the favorite of his own children. In fact, the only sentence I can think of involving Boozer, the Bulls and being the favorite right now would be:

“Of all the Bulls currently on the roster, the favorite to be amnestied this summer is Carlos Boozer.”
